LET'S GO TO KAH-NEE-TA!
Obsidians and friends are invited to be guests of the Indian Tribes (Wascos, Teninos, and Paiutes) at the Warm Springs, Oregon vacation resort, 166 miles from Eugene--where the sun shines 345 days of the year, and two lovely pools invite you to swim in their naturally warmed waters.
The date is October 19-20, a Saturday & Sunday event.. Your special chartered Greyhound Bus will leave Eugene at 8 A.M. Saturday for a scenic drive to the deep Warm Springs River Canyon in which the resort is nestled amid high hills.
Bring your sack lunch for Saturday, and board the bus at the South Eugene High School parking lot, 19th & Patterson, - cars may be parked there overnight.
On a share-a-room basis with bath for overnight, your bus transportation and Saturday night full buffet dinner, the Obsidian trip fee will be $15.00. Deadline for payment is October 12.
For the rugged individual a teepee is available for $5.00 and will hold four to six in comfort. There are no facilities and you bring your own sleeping bag. (Deduct $4.50 from tour price and pay for teepee personally.) Swimming privileges are extra if you choose the teepee.
