Trip Report

The differently arranged tables were graced with beautiful arrangements of early spring flowers and lots of Obsidians and friends. As usual, it was a fantastically good dinner with plenty of choices in all categories. But the highlight of the evening, of course, was Don Hunter and his three-screen "Oregon Spectacular." This series is a changing exhibit of many of Don's thousands of slides of nooks and crannies, as well as more familiar scenes in Oregon. His narration and sound effects add a polish to his professional photography. And you have another chance to see this man in action at the Lodge, as he will show us his railroad series with sounds of old locomotives that will bring back many memories of years passed. That's for our April entertainment!
