Trip Report

A group of four met at the parking lot and three left to go to near top of Hardesty Trail and later meet Betty after she had worked a couple of hours. For some reason we overshot our turnoff and wound upon another mountain where we took an exploratory hike on Lone Wolf Trail that led to a shelter 1.5 miles in. It was sunny and scenic there. Then we tootled over to where we should have been and just before lunch time Betty hove into view so we all had a nice lunch together. However, we were enveloped in a cloud all the time we were on that mountain. We got quite a bit accomplished near the top of the trail including a place where some unknown critters had made large holes on and near the trail. Members on the trip were John Cecil, Mike Wright, Betty Legris and leader Shirley Froyd.
