Trip Report

Our job for the day was to construct a trailhead from the new parking ores and realign a short portion of the access trail to the Rebel Creek/Rebel Rock trails. A loop with two bridges is now complete; finished by Obsidians during the last year. The Forest Service has constructed a graveled parking area giving safe and ample parking at the combined new trailhead. Gene Flynt, the Recreation Manager from the Blue River District, directed the work party. We all worked diligently, some being more diligent than others, and only two people were spotted dozing in the afternoon sun. We all shared the satisfaction of finishing another project started many months ago.

Workers (and sleepers) were Joe Austin, John and Pete Cecil, Barb Elsen, Mike Wright, Vi Johnson, and leader Betty Macy.

Summer Camp Returns, August 23-29, 2026. Save the Dates! More details soon.
