Trip Report

The 76-plus people attending the Nov. 22 potluck at the Lodge "traveled quickly round the world". Sandi Reul showed slides of their recent self-guided hiking trip to France while Chuck had slides of a commercially organized hiking trip to New Zealand. Rick Ahrens explained how he and his brother planned a trip to Alaska and Pribilof Islands for birding and hiking. John Jacobsen showed a few slides of the Mountain Lakes Wilderness area near Klamath Falls. Bob Dark concluded the show with slides taken by Ray Simms of early Obsidian trips. One slide showed a 100-strong (!!!) Obsidian hiking group on the Middle Sister. Many thanks to our members for sharing their memories.

Another thanks to Pat Dark and Donna Eimstad for decorating the tables and organizing the kitchen. Potluck fees of $32.50 were collected.
