Trip Report

There are advantages to adding a climb late to the schedule, and during Summer Camp - it keeps the group size down considerably! Due also to some cancellations of intended climbers, there were only two of us on our climb up Three Fingered Jack. We left the PCT trailhead at about 6 a.m. and reached "the crawl" at 9. Since there were only two of us we took only one rope, belaying around "the crawl" and up the chimney block to the tiny summit. we reached that precarious perch at about 10 o'clock and enjoyed it to ourselves; only on our way down did we start to meet other climbers heading up. On top of Three Fingered Jack on this nice day were Andy Jobanek and George Jobanek, leader.
