Trip Report

This hike was really nice as it was in an old growth forest and it was shaded the whole way. A nice gradient, soft trail, I think three waterfalls, very pleasant hike! The last waterfall (at the turnaround) was the biggest and most scenic. On the way back we veered left and took a short hike to the "Grove of the Patriarchs". 700 yr. old plus trees and they were enormous and beautiful! It is a short hike, less than half a mile and very much worth the time!
