Description:

We will work to cut back brush from the trailsides of the Ridgeline Trail working out from the Fox Hollow Trailhead.

Updated meeting place: the Fox Hollow Trailhead parking lot, gravel lot across Fox Hollow from the Cascade Raptor Center.

Trip Report

Our group of volunteers met Carrie Karl of EPOS at the Fox Hollow Trailhead parking lot for a warm Wednesday evening of volunteering. We grabbed tools and small groups headed off in both directions on the Ridgeline Trail to cut back brush. One group went along the trail in Spencer Butte Park and the other along the trail in Hult City Park. We braved the spray from freshly cut poison oak and the thorns of blackberries to return the trail to its intended width. We raked the trail clean of debris and even incorporated some litter pick-up and removal into the evenings activity.
