Description:

With the Ridgeline Trail closed the regular Wednesday hike has been moved. We'll travel north along the river path until we reach the Greenway bridge and cross the river near Valley River Center. After crossing we continue on to Alton Baker Park. After crossing back to the south bank our path returns us to our starting point.

Update --Tuesday afternoon the bike path was clear. Worst ice/slush was in the parking lot. We always have the option of shortening our route by the DeFazio Bridge.

Trip Report

After many days of feeling house-bound because of the ice/snow/freezing rain, today was a pleasant way to get out and stretch our legs. We came prepared but didn't have any precipitation. We could see a lot of damage from the December ice storm along the river and on Skinner's Butte.
