Description:

This is an aerobic hike. Come a few minutes early to sign in because we start promptly at 9:00 o'clock. We hike from the Martin Street trailhead to Fox Hollow, to the Tie Trail, and to the summit of Spencer Butte. The hike takes around 2.5 hours depending on how much time we linger at the top before heading down. Parts of the trail are muddy so wear appropriate footwear. Be aware of the weather conditions and dress accordingly because it can be cold, windy, and wet.

After the hike join us at the Hideaway Bakery for coffee or lunch.

Trip Report

Sixteen members hiked to the top of Spencer Butte and down without any issues. Rain was forecasted but the hike was finished before any rain fell. Several hikers gathered at the Hideaway Bakery afterwards for lunch and conversation.
