Description:
Meet at the Rite Aid parking lot at 29th & Willamette on MLK Day. Our first stop will be Morse Farm. It was the residence of Frank Morse, one of two US senators who opposed the Vietnam war; we will receive a docent tour here. Then we'll walk on city sidewalks through the south hills, discovering some hidden passage ways and stairs to get from one neighborhood to another. This will be a fairly fast paced, somewhat aerobic walk, not a stroll! Upon returning to the parking lot, if folks want to, we can get a treat at Market of Choice.
