Description:

This is my rescheduling of a pleasant close-in winter-friendly walk. Be prepared for rain. This walk takes us around Walterville Pond and along the canal to the Power Plant and back. Path is mostly on hard-packed gravel surface.

Trip Report

Our large group had a pleasant hike under a blanket of fog with temps in the low 20's. We circled around the north side of Walterville Pond and then headed west to the Power Plant and back again to the parking lot. The water in the canal was the highest I've ever seen.
