It should be a good time for wildflowers on this wonderful "lollipop" trail that brings one seemingly close enough to reach out and touch the base of Middle Sister. Lunch break planned in the meadow just above Obsidian Falls, where one can watch water bubbling up into the "steamlets" emerging from the boulder walls. If folks are interested in where the campsites are for future adventures, we can walk up from the meadow to scout around.

Moderate pace; long lunch break to enjoy simply being there.
