We'll meet at the main, paved Spencer Butte parking lot on Willamette. The trail from the main parking lot has had a lot of work done recently by the City (with help from the Obsidians). Come on out and enjoy the improved trail.

Trip Report

Six of us headed up Spencer Butte on a rainy morning. Despite the weather, it was a good hike. The lower part of the trail was in excellent shape as the Youth Corps was working on adding gravel to the trail. Our youngest participant finished her third hike and is eager to be an Obsidian!
