Description:

***Weather Update: be prepared for light to moderate rain with temps around 50 degrees (F)***
Meet at the Owen Rose Garden in the parking lot where Jefferson Street ends at the river.
We will hike west along the Willamette River and follow the path up to the Owosso footbridge, where we will cross the river and walk the trail back down to the footbridge at Valley River, where we will cross back over and return to the Owen Rose Garden. This hike is all on paved paths so even if it's raining, it won't be muddy. We will hike at a moderate pace and enjoy the wildlife and river flowing by.

Trip Report

Six early bird Obsidians showed up at the Owen Rose Garden on a Sunday morning to hike the Willamette River Path. After a night of constant rain, the skies cleared for a pleasant hike. The rain returned about 10 minutes before we finished but didn't dampen any Obsidian spirits.
