Trip Report

We were surprised when the moon was high in the sky when we reached the summit for the 7:34pm sunset. Oops! When I rescheduled my hike from March 31 to March 28, I didn’t change the moonrise time from 6:55pm to the earlier 4:34pm in my trip description. My mistake gave us an unexpected clear sky, a colorful sunset and a friendly moon to follow us on our descent.
