Description:

UPDATE at 7:40 am Saturday. 100% chance of rain in Wilbur and Deer Park Habitat. Many have canceled because of the rain or wanting go up to the mountains to ski. I'm switching the hike to Mt. Pisgah. Meet at the main Mt. Pisgah lot.

We will take Trail 4 up and down to the new section where we lose elevation before we start up Trail 2 to the summit. It is a long uphill steep hike to the summit.

Trip Report

We were protected from the wind on the back trails. As we neared the summit on Trail 2, we could hear the wind and knew we would have only a quick stop on top. Our 8:00 departure time was fortuitous when the rain began in earnest as we neared the parking for a quick farewell.
