Description:

This is our weekly aerobic hike starting at Martin Street Trailhead up to Spencer Butte. We start promptly so come a few minutes early to check in. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather. It is a steady pace varying from moderate to fast. Guests are welcome. It is a great way to train for summer hikes.
To get to the trailhead: Take West Amazon to Martin Street. Turn left. Drive past Kinney Park and park on Martin Street at the Kiosk sign board across from Canyon Drive Street sign with hiker symbol. One can take LTD Bus #28 to Martin Street. Please call the leader if any questions

Trip Report

Nice day to go up the mountain. The leader arrived just before the start of the hike. Lessons for the day: even when you think you have remembered everything you need for a hike, remember that the time you need to be there is one of those things to remember! Also, keep in mind that we are very good at convincing ourselves that arrival times and meeting places are correct until we discover that they aren't!!
