Trip Report

On breeze Sunday morning four of us stormed up with hope to see glimpse of Lyrid meteor shower but was already too much light. By 6:05 AM we arrived at the top of 35°F Spencer Butte and welcomed Earth Day sunrise with dozen more people. On the way down we enjoyed blooming wildflowers, birdsongs and sight of grazing deer.
