Description:

This easy hike begins at Willamette Pass in the Pacific Crest Trail parking lot. There is a gradual climb and then walking through the forest past Lower Rosary Lake to Middle/ North Rosary Lakes for lunch.

Trip Report

Seven of us headed up to Rosary Lakes to get out of the predicted Valley heat. The parking area was quite full at the PCT trail junction. This might mean a crowd at the Lakes! Fortunately when we arrived it was very quiet and practically empty. Last year there were many ducks and ducklings on the Middle Lake and they kept us quite entertained at lunch. This year there was just a random duck. There is a very nice breeze off the Middle Lake to keep a hiker cool while having lunch. We then returned at a brisk pace ( all downhill ).
