Description:

This will be an easy hike. We will follow the Brice Creek trail and will hopefully have a cooler hike on an August day. The hike will begin at Cedar Creek and follow Brice Creek to the Trestle Creek footbridge before returning.

Trip Report

We had perfect weather on our hike along Brice Creek up to Trestle Creek. When we arrived at the Cedar Creek parking area we were the only cars. The trail had a few areas that needed some work, but the majority of the hike was easy and pleasant conditions. A few of us went up the side trail to the lower Falls. Many selected a lovely lunch spot along the Creek. On our return, there were alot of people enjoying swimmming and cooling off in the creek. The parking lot was packed when we finished up the hike. Thank you to Alan Curtis, who provided plant and tree information on our trip through a lovely old growth forest.
