Patterson Mt, a close to Eugene hike that leads use pass large meadows, old growth trees and Wolf Shelter. The top of the trails gives use a good view of the North Fork of the Willamette River drainage .

Trip Report

Great fall day. The trail was in great condition. Bright clear day with cool breeze felt like winter was around the corner. We had the trail to ourselves for most of the hike. We spent about 25 minutes sitting on the bench at the top eating lunch and taking in the view of the 3 Sister's and Broken Top along with Willamette drainage below use. After 25 minutes we were frozen and headed back to the car.
