Description:

Thurston Hills Trailhead Directions: Head East out of Springfield on Main Street/Hwy 126. The trail head parking lot will be the first right after you pass the cemetery. The parking lot is behind the historic Gray house and across from the Berean church. There is a restroom at the trailhead.

After the hike there is an "optional" lunch at McKenzie Stage Stop located two miles (by car) east on Hwy 126. I would like to call ahead with an approximate count for lunch so please RSVP to denise.bean@comcast.net.

Trip Report

We had a nice break in the weather for a cold but partly sunny hike. We had three hikers on their first hike with the Obsidians. They all took membership applications. The trail was graveled and in great shape. Six of us enjoyed lunch at the McKenzie Stage Stop 2 miles east on Hwy 126 from the trail head. Great hike, food and company.
