Description:

Our trail follows the north shore of the Larison Creek arm of Hills Creek Reservoir and continues upstream past the cove. We will turn around either at the pool at the 3-mile mark, or the stream crossing approximately .5 mile beyond. *Sunday's forecast is for dry, sunny weather. However, please be prepared for rain & potentially muddy trails.

Trip Report

We had a lovely, relatively warm, sunny spring day for our hike along Larison Creek to the "pool" 3 miles up the trail. We had the trail to ourselves & enjoyed a pleasant 'lunch' break at the pool before returning as we came. Darko & Keiko were able to collect a few mushrooms along the way. We didn't encounter any other hikers until about a mile before returning to our cars.
