Trip Report

The Museum of Natural and Cultural History opened its doors on Monday to celebrated the 50th anniversary of Earth Day with four science walks. The walk was actually a talk about the Ice Age and climate change. Our docent Michael Miller held our attention as he explained how historically climate changed in cyclical ways until 1950. The details of what has happened since were sobering. Michael enjoyed answering our many questions except for the ones about the future. Thanks to Marguerite Clooney who led our hidden staircase walk to and from the museum for those who parked at Hendricks Park.
