Trip Report

it was a pleasant spring day to enjoy enjoy the flowing river and the emerging wild flowers especially lady slippers and snow queen. We were amazed by the abundant display of oyster mushrooms on two logs along the trail—the first time many of us had seen them in the wild. We thank the volunteers who previously removed the downed trees on the first section and half way on the second section. At that point big trees across trails prompted us to turn around and head back to the cars.
