Description:

Park at the North Parking Lot.
The Mt. Pisgah Wildflower and Music Festival show starts at 10:00 so we should not have a problem parking at the North Trailhead where we will head out for the North Bottomlands, Trail 3 and eventually arriving at the summit around 10:15.  Mileage is an estimate depending on weather and participants. Directions to North Trailhead: Instead of turning right to the usual meeting place at yellow fee box, turn left after crossing the bridge spanning the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and proceed a 1/4 mile to a gravel parking area. A sign kiosk indicates the North Trailhead. You will need a Lane County Park pass. There is no fee box at this parking lot. If you want to attend the flower show,  the suggested donation fee is $10.00. I recommend that you pay online (easy) and print your ticket.

Trip Report

We hiked two miles from North Trailhead on the North Bottom Loop Trail before we started up Trail 3 to the summit. Two of us visited the wildflower displays in the White Oak Pavilion before we caught the shuttle van back to our cars. The trip took three hours.
