Trip Report

Our beach weekend started out with a visit to the Cape Perpetua area where we walked to "Thor's well"...An interesting geological feature an easy distance from the visitors center....Don't turn your back on the ocean!....It is very close to where big waves break!....The Friday pot luck was fun and we danced it up in the kitchen afterwards to classic rock & roll.

Saturday we caught the bus to Waldport and walked back to Yachats....It's always special to look at the old redwood stump estimated to have grown there 1200 years ago....Later we had dinner at Drift Inn and listened to live music in several locations ....

Sunday I cooked breakfast and we departed shortly afterwards.....I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.....It was a great mix of people....pz
