Description:

This is a pretty tough moderate trail. While not long, it does have very short, steep sections and some awkward steps. But it is beautiful. From large old growth trees to moss and lichens there's a lot going on in this little creek drainage.

Trip Report

A little damp and drizzly but hey, it was a fall day in what can be described as a temperate rain forest. Lots to take note of,from big cedars to tiny mushrooms. Speaking of mushrooms, there was a good variety, including a huge cauliflower mushroom. It was a large group today and we took our time on the trail. It seemed that everyone was glad to know about this little treasure not too far from town.
