Trip Report

Eight hikers completed the six mile Horse Rock Trail.  Beginning with overcast skies temperature around seventy degrees. Everyone was in good spirits and looking forward to lots of wildflowers. We were not disappointed. Many varieties were in full bloom. We hiked beyond the trails end another mile on the gravel transmission service road and enjoyed our lunches under bright sunny skies at the hills top overlooking the valley to the west. Wild strawberries were abundant and tasty.
