Trip Report

It was sunny, 47°F when we started at the trailhead. Whole group soon started warming up so, on the way up, we stopped three times to take layers off. Half of the hike was on a big wide gravel road; rest was on solid, soft forest trails.
After the lunch, on the way back we bush-walked quarter of the mile to connect back to the main trail.
Everyone enjoyed great eight miles in today’s mostly sunny day. It was 57°F, when we, 2:30 PM returned to trailhead.
Kudos to Jules; he was outstanding assistant leader.
On the way back ten of us stopped at Monroe’s new brew house for refreshments.
Brief and simple: Great time with the friends.
