Description:

Meeting place is Spring Blvd Trailhead, not so easy to find. (If you have a GPS app, try: 4699 Spring Blvd or https://goo.gl/maps/NyfNTVxX1pcdoW6z6)

It will take around two hours to walk to the top of Spencer Butte.
Depending on the weather and the stamina of the group, we may divide into two groups at one of the trail junctions. Email me at jbjacobsen@comcast.net if you need directions to the trailhead or if you want me to pick you up at Albertsons on 30th. If you want a shorter trip, you could opt to meet us at the Dillard East Trailhead.

Trip Report

A sunny November day was unexpected except for those who wore shorts and t-shirts. The section of trail from Spring to the top of Baldy has just been resurfaced. We saw at least three new benches —a new feature of the Ridgeline Trail. The new Fox Hollow road crossing make it much safer for hikers. The trip took four hours.
