Trip Report

The ornate and stately homes along the eastern side of Skinner Butte are often overlooked, but this area was once the economic heart of Eugene. Here a visitor will find homes of early timber and wool executives who stayed close to their mills on the Millrace. On our walk we stopped by the historic Mims House.
