Description:

My plan is to walk along the river path to the North Trailhead and take Trail 3 and 4 to connect with the main trail to the summit. The return trip will complete the loop back to the cars. Turn right at the sign for West Summit Trailhead and follow pay fee/station signs. We meet one row down from the gate and pay station. If you don’t have a Lane County permit, allow time to use a credit card at the pay station by trailhead.

Depending on weather, mileage and elevation could vary but around 6 miles at a steady pace. Estimated time is 3 hours so bring snacks. Email me at jbjacobsen@comcast.net if you have questions.

A pleasant 2 1/2 hour hike along the Coast Fork to the North Trailhead and Trail 3 and eventually the summit.
