Trip Report

Virtual sign in (only the leader’s hands touched the sign-up sheet) and our small group of six made it comfortable to comply with social distancing. Spring equinox arrived early than any other equinox in the last 124 years. We celebrated with a long walk in the arboretum enjoying the wildflowers especially on the Jetta Trail where fawn lilies blanketed the hillside. Camus was even blooming. Four of us decided to continue to the summit taking the steep Trail 35. The 3 ½ hike with sunny weather and friends was just the ticket to uplift our spirits. The parking lot all three levels, was packed when we returned to our cars.
