Description:

For this outing we will be brushing the sides of the Tie Trail. We will hike down the Tie Trail to the junction with the Ridgeline and work our way back observing social distancing.

Attendees will practice social distancing and mask wearing throughout the event. Please bring your own gloves and tools (such as handclippers, loppers, machetes, weed whips, weed cutters, etc.).

Meet at the main Willamette Street Trailhead parking lot, the paved on Willamette.

Trip Report

We met at the main trailhead for a long hike down the Tre Trail followed by hacking at the trailsides with machetes. It was a rather warm evening and we all benefited from having brought plenty of water. Pat even used the skills she acquired during the previous outing to remove false brome.
