Description:

For this month's outing we will return to the Tie Trail to continue brushing the trail sides. We may even get to use leaf blowers to help "sweep" the trail clear of big leaf maple leaves.

Meet at the Main Spencer Butte Parking lot (the paved lot) on Willamette.

Trip Report

For this month's outing we donned our masks at the main parking lot and hiked up to the Tie Trail and continued our work from some months past of clearing drainage ditches and cutting back blackberries. Our group started a little over halfway down the trail and worked our way back up. We put a lot of effort into cutting back blackerries encroaching on the trail and just tryig to breath through cloth masks.

Our group returned to the trailhead to find imaculatley cleaned steps and personal pizzas wiaiting for us all. Special thanks to Pat and Janet for coordinating the pizza and Betsy for their delivery.
