Description:

Please read the COVID-19 Protocols on the website. We will start on the Ridgeline Trail at west end of Martin Street (not Canyon Drive) to connect with the Amazon Headwaters Trail up to Fox Hollow. From there we will take the new surfaced upper trail to Dillard and Baldy, down to Spring Trailhead. (About 1 hour and 40 minutes) Depending on the group and weather, our return trip could include a neighborhood trail adjacent to the powerline—poles would be helpful. Mileage is less if we choose this option.

Trip Report

Yes, everyone said they had a face covering and had read the latest Obsidian COVID-19 Protocols. Jorry explained the location of the Be Noble property before we started up the trail at the west end of Martin Street. We met few people on the shady trail to Fox Hollow, Dillard, Mr. Baldy and Spring Blvd. We met John Cooper and then later, Carla and Dave Cooper. On our return we met more hikers and with practice, we were like a dance team stepping aside. Perhaps that was Vickie Hansen's influence. With the rising temperature, we were thankful for the forest canopy. Thanks to the enthusiastic Obsidians who made the hike so pleasant!
