Mt Pisgah Sunset/Moonrise

Description:

This is not my usual flexible sunset hike–It takes two hours and 15 minutes at a moderate space to get to the top!! Last month, we did iit in two hours. The moonrise is 7:38 pm and the sunset is 7:48 pm. We will take Trail 7 to Trail 4 DOWN to Trail 2 and then up 800 ft elevation on the east side. Trip Report

Our 5:15pm departure time put us on top before the 7:38 moonrise and the 7:48 sunset—perhaps a bit early for some who were cold while waiting. The moon appeared and quickly rose above the foothills and we quickly headed down.Thanks to Jorry for leading and gathering us together at the intersections. It was Linda's third trip and she had her application ready for me to deliver to the membership chair.
