Description:

Meet at Dorris Ranch upper parking lot near restrooms.
This is an 8 mile easy hike from Doris Ranch Park in Springfield to Clearwater Park and return. Takes about 2 1/2 hrs. Hills and river views. Meet at Doris Ranch parking lot next to restrooms. Some may have lunch after outdoors at Planktown Restaurant on fourth street after hike. Mask and social distance protocols

Trip Report

The group started the day with cloudy skies and temperatures around 45 degrees. As we hiked along the weather improved and the sun broke through and our lively conversation and laughter made for a rejuvenating hike. The river was beautiful and the miles flew by. We spotted two eagles that were having a spirited conversation about which one had the fishing rights in the area. Mostly sunny with some spurts of rain on and off.
