Description:

Start early to avoid the head and crowds.

Meet at the Fox Hollow trailhead parking area across from the Raptor Center. The round trip at a steady pace takes around 2 hours.

If you haven’t seen the repairs on the Tie Trail, this is a good time to check it out.

If you need a longer hike, it would be easy to continue hiking on the Ridgeline Trail to Dillard or beyond.

Trip Report

Linda successfully carried a backpack —the first time in 20 years.—to prepare for her upcoming backpacks. On top we shared climbing stories with former member and climber, George Jobanek. I provided muffins for a light breakfast. On the way down Marguerite pointed out two woodpeckers pecking way up a tree. We all agreed that 7:00am departure time made for a pleasanter trip in the hot weather.
