Description:
We'll park at Maiden Peak Trail head #3681 near Gold Lake and hike 5.8 miles to Maiden Peak. It will be a mix of gentle grade and steeper, with a stretch of rubble rock near the top. After a break and view, we'll descend for 3 miles and take the PCT south for .7 miles to the Maiden Peak Shelter, and relax again. From here it's 3.5 miles back to the trail head.
