For this month's outing we will be adding ditches to the Tie Trail. Other tasks will include light brushing and kiosk cleaning.

Meet at the Fox Hollow Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot across Fox Hollow from the Cascade Raptor Center.

Trip Report

Our group of volunteers braved freezing temperatures and frosty roads to meet up with Marlon for a brisk morning of ditch digging and clearing along the Tie and Ridgeline Trails. We hiked up the Ridgeline and Tie Trails to work our way back out. We broke into 2 groups of 3 to work on the new ditches. Janet, Pat, and Dave hiked back down the trails to do some light brushing and culvert checking. Then, after completing the new ditches we hiked out cleaning the existing ditches along the way. We arrived back at the Fox Hollow trailhead and enjoyed some treats prepared by Janet and juice brought by Jorry.

Special thanks go to Clara for cleaning the Fox Hollow trailhead kiosk and cutting back the blackberries behind it.
