Description:

We will continue our beautification projects from the last couple of months by painting the kiosk, post, and bikerack at the Willamette and 52nd trailhead.

Meet at the Willamette and 52nd Trailhead parking lot, the gravel lot on Willamette. This is a small parking lot and if full you can park along 52nd.

Trip Report

For this month's outing we met Marlon once again for continued trail facility summer beautification projects. We started by cutting back brush and blackberries from the back of the Willamette & 52nd trailhead kiosk. Our group also got started masking and removing staples before beginning to paint. We also prepped the trailmarkers and bikerack for spray painting. Special thanks go to Maureen for braving the breezy weather and spray painting the markers and bikerack. We stopped and took a break enjoying fresh watermelon and chocolate zucchini bread...it was delicious. After our well deserved snack we finished up final touches on our painting projects before removing some of the masking.
