Description:

This is primarily a birding trip with a hike attached. I have an option in mind to include the new Ankeny Wildlife Refuge nature center and trail. I consider this part of the trip exploratory. The Finley portion of the trip will include checking out 2 large ponds and hiking the Woodpecker and Mill Pond trails. No Ankeny refuge. To far to go for a mile and a half trail. It would be a great place to stop on your north.
