Description:

Moonrise is at 8:39 and sunset is 8:54. Full moon is the next day. Look for us by my car a row or two down from the fee box.. Depending on the temperature, the current plan is to take 7, “shady” 4 and 1. Optional: The shorter route of #7 and #3 to the main trail.

Trip Report

Perhaps so many canceled because of the heat. Once on top the temperature had dropped making it so pleasant to linger and visit. The moon kept itself hidden in the haze but finally we opted to wait no longer and headed down for colorful sunset. Thanks to Bob for coleading and thanks Dave Cooper for explaining the new membership qualification voted on the night before. We wished Allan a safe trip back to Bandon.
