...A sshoe to the overlook of Odell Lake..B in shape! (in shape 2 me means U walk 3 mi ,3 times a week or work out @ a gym 3 times a wk)....We will walk to shelter 1 mi in, then do a loop returning to shelter again & then bac 2 the car....

Trip Report

The snowshoe trip to Odell Overlook began at the Gold Lake Sno-Park and started with a light snowfall that kept the trees beautifully dusted. We made a brief stop at the Westview Shelter and then went up to Odell Overlook. We could make out part of Odell Lake through the snowy fog, but the wind made our stay brief. We looped back to Westview Shelter for lunch and then headed back to our cars. Some of us stopped at DQ in Oakridge and eliminated any calorie burn we may have accomplished. A fun time was had by all!
