Description:

The Middle Fork of the Willamette River Trail runs from Sand Prairie Campground near Hills Ck Reservoir to Timpanogas lk. It passes Chuckle Spring, the headwater of the Willamette River.
We will be doing the section from road 2127 to road 2184 out and back. If we have enough drivers we also have the option of doing a shuttle and hiking one way from Sand Prairie Campground to Rd. 2184. Hoping for some spring flowers and wildlife.
Note, I believe there has been construction since I hiked it a few years back, but it is still possible that we may have a creek crossing along the way.
