Trip Report

Heidi and Jean enjoyed the solitude of this forest hike. Rhodies blooming, gentle breezes, birds chirping and several babbling streams gave us joy as we meandered along. Giant douglas fir, tall maples and scruffy vine maples kept our heads turned upward. This trail has many ups and downs as it follows the contour of the drainage. To add to the solitude, we only encountered two bikers. This is a gem that is close in.
