Rosary is lovely with Pulpit Rock rising to the west. The path continues past Middle and Upper Rosary Lakes with a view point a half mile beyond the lakes. This will be the turnaround point. Snack and lunch breaks can happen near the lakes. Those who are swimmers may enjoy a dip in 1, 2 or all 3 lakes.

Dress in layers appropriate for the weather. Bring water, snacks and lunch.
130 mile trip would be $14.30 for the driver.

Trip Report

Sunshine, a gentle breeze, beautiful lakes and fascinating forest made for an excellent hike to all 3 Rosary Lakes and beyond to a viewpoint. The 3 Rosaries were shimmering below, Odell Lake and Crescent Lake were visible in the distance with a smoky haze. Woodpeckers and scrub jays broke the silence. Solitude and silent hiking added to the magic. A few leaves beginning to change color gave a hint that it is fall. This ended up being a 9.5 mile hike.
